I just bought this.....Could somebody please tell me what it is? I know its not a meyers manx so did somebody just make this fiberglass frame or what?.....It actually has a little truck bed in the back too if you can't tell.Has a 1600 VW in it..Thanks Evan
I think I saw a bogy like this for sale in Tampa, FL when I was looking at a beetle for a doner. If I rember correctly he didn't want a lot for it but it was rough.
There is one like it for sale on dune-buggy.com in the buggy trader section and he is calling it a Joe Poty Enterprises Sand Rover "T". Wild Mike (newbie):hello:
I think the FiberJet Super "T" is actually a knockoff of the Joe Poty "T". I guess it could be one or the other.
I think you're right. I think most all of Fiberjet's stuff is knock-offs. But even the Joe Poty T is a loose copy of the Barris T, which in turn was a loose copy of the very cute and truly original, Berry Mini T
Wow thank you guys a bunch for all the info!....I bought this thing for no reason and I really want a rail buggy.......So if anybody wants it I guess its for sale.....It was completely restored before I bought it
You might have better luck by posting your buggy for sale, in the "buggy's for sale" section. Don't forget to post your asking price, location, and contact info. And, more pictures would help (you're doing good on the picture posting thing).
It is a Joe Poty Sandrover T Pickup. I got one of those bodies thats never been mounted, minus the hood. I might build it someday. :eat: If I build it, I think I'll put a Manx style hood on it.
Hey, thanks alot I've got one of those. Kind of thought it was a Joe Poty but never saw a flyer.
