I'm no expert on these matters, but my stab at a serial number decode would be: 'R' Resorter '0075' sequence number 75 'F' June '0' 1970 '10E' Blilliant Red Metalflake

The registry says there were just 75 Resorters made. You have number 75. That's cool. If you're going to use it and enjoy it, its priceless.

Nice buggy but it's got no real fixed 'price'. It'll only ever be worth what you can get someone to pay for it and rare as it is it may not be as desirable to someone as a regular Manx. If it were mine I'd never dream of selling it though...

I have had the car for years and I never really used it much. Where I live( Laughlin NV) there is really no place to go except the casinos and wal-mart. I dont take it off road cuz the wheels are aluminum and would bend if ya hit a pot hole or a rock so the dam thing sits in my garage collecting dust and I pay the tags and insurance. Not to mention there are no clubs or anyone else to do things with. The most use I get out of it is starting it once every week to week half. weeee that was fun. I hope the guy that gave the info on the serial # is spot on. He may be cuz the car was a dull red metal flake when i got it. I doubt priceless. it is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it. I would just as soon have cash or trade for a porsche. So, if anyone is interested making an offer drop me a line bdelmonico@yahoo.com. Oh, thanks for all the info. Never really knew what the hell it was. However, What I really liked about the car is it is different then most buggies and it has the low sides so fat guys like me can get in and out easy-kinda and the disney land ride bars by the openings. Anyway thanks for the info and kind comments.
