If you don't want to go high end, we put in one of the less expensive 'C'-channel type 3" lifts you find in the ads from Hot V.W.'s magazine. I beefed it up with 3/4" square aluminium tubing at each bolt hole to keep the lift from being squeezed down when I tightened up the through bolt. It's been in the buggy for 8 years with no problems off-road. 

Just remember though that Andy is a long time club member. I believe in supporting other club members when possible.
