Need a Shifter boot
I recently got a genuine Hurst shifter that needs a boot. Anyone have an extra original? Or, know where I can get one? (like New Old Stock)? Some say an Empi knockoff will fit, but, I think I'd prefer just a plain one vs. something that has Empi all over it.. Any other ideas?

I have the exact shifter missing the cover and the gasket was shot. I just gave away one. Somehow I thought I ordered one and I got two. There is a guy on the samba who sells them as a kit (cover Gasket and knob) He sold me the cover and the gasket with shipping for $15. Its from Empi and Fits great.

So, I'm a day late and a shifter boot short, huh?
Thanks for TheSamba tip. I just looked, nothing on there right now. I'll keep checking back. And, I'll see if I can find the Empi boot elsewhere and see what it looks like (like I said, I don't want "EMPI" molded on it, I'd prefer plain, instead of that). You don't happen to have that guy's email address from your transaction, do you? If you do, can you send it to me in an email? Thanks.
