Anyone running Mastercraft A/T tires on their buggy? If so how does it ride? What PSI are you running? And how is the noise on the highway?
Thanks,

Mastercraft A/T Tires
Hey Loiue,
I run bfg a/t on my buggies. I run 12 psi in them except when towing, then I bump them up to 20 psi. I dont hear the noise from the tires because the wind is louder. You are more apt to hear the tire noise from a vehicle next to you than your tires.

Yeah BFGs were my first choice but they only make a 235/75-15 not a 235/70-15. It is only an inch difference but I am concerned about highway performance as I plan to do some long distance trips in the Manx. (I refuse to trailer it to Cali for the Manx Club Events.) Trans is a stock geared 4.12 SA with an 1835 motor. I want to be able to cruise at 70 mph comfortably without having to downshift at every hill. So I am trying to keep it under 28" for the rears. So far Mastercraft is one of the few companies that make that size and have a 14" tire as well (195/75-14 which is a 26" tire).
Thanks,

The BF Goodrich web site is a great source for tire information. They have a tire chart shown below that is sourced from a tab on the bottom of the specific tire model under specs (click on more tab on the right for additional info) that provides you with tire sizes, recommended wheel width and overall diameter of the tires by size. This chart is for the Radial TA. There is also an off road tire section with some nice tires on it.
