I am restoring my classic Manx and I'm looking for ideas on how or what to do in mounting my hardtop to prevent the "legs" of the top from wearing into the body. That's what happened with the OG mounting system over the years and that damage has been repaired. In the past I tried cushioning between top and body and that didn't work either.
Any ideas? Cut the "legs" shorter?
