After market steering column with turn signal

Can anyone recomend a 100 - 150$ aftermarket steering column? Those billet ones ate a bit pricey!

jsut use a piece of 1 inch tubing or something. You don't have to buy everything you can make stuff. That's part of the fun on building a buggy.

Whats wrong with a stock Bug steering columb? I cut my shaft and tube 2" at the bottom and re-ground the recess for the sleeve bolt. I just bought a Grant wheel and it looks great.

If memory serves me well, I think that the MGA or older models of the MGB have a long levered indicator switch on the dash board. The lever is long enough to be reached with the finger tips while the hand is still holding the steering wheel.

Here is a stock 64 Bug column with an el cheapo Grant wheel and a VW turn signal switch with the wires run in the column. I don't think it looks too awful bad. Image

Actually it looks good and I wont have to custom fab a complete set up. Where could I find these retail? And how much $ would the be? Thanks!
