Looks like a nice find  Wonder if it used to belong to a football coach :D That Tommy was born in 54, so it puts him about the right age. If it did end up belonging to him it may be wise to keep the markings. Any footballers on here??

Hi Guys....That is my Manx, thanks to Ron for posting the pics of it. I've joined the Club and had this Manx authenticated by Bruce. Here's what I know about the car. It was owned by Otto Roy Thomas Bowden Jr., he went by Tom or Tommy. He passed away this past December, 2007. He was in his early 50's. His father is still alive, I have sent him a letter requesting any info he could tell me, but have not gotten a reply. Tom Jr. did not build the car, it was built by somebody in Jacksonville Fl, 30+ years ago. It has a Porsche 356 1600S engine in it. It was SCCA slalom raced by Mr. Bowden. One of the sponsers of the car was Frantz's garage in Jacksonville, Fl. I have talked to a guy there, he remembers the car, but so far has not found any info on the car. I'd love to find somebody who knows the car, or some of it's history. I'm going to restore it as close as I can to the way it was. I have the engine apart, I've found alot of surprises in there. The body is off the frame and am prepping a new Berrien tube chassis for it. I'm hoping to be able to drive it this summer, might not get to the paint this summer, but I'm hoping to. Coop
