Continuing the FUN!
Immediately following the Official September Coloma GOLD RUSH Manx Club event put on by Gary & Pam Philbin.

For those members that will already be in Coloma, about 2 hours from there in Gardnerville, NV. Connie & Lynn Breedlove would like to invite any and all Manx Club members to an unofficial event beginning on Monday Sept 28th 2026 after the Coloma event (a day to travel over the hill and get settled in). This unofficial event will be based out of Douglas County Fairgrounds as our gathering place and Connie will work on securing the dry camping as we did with the Buggies & Balloons event.

The idea is 2-3 days of trail riding, followed by a day at the lake to have some tourist fun! - like a boat ride on the lake - followed by a couple more days of trail riding.

This after event will be open to any club members wanting to come with buggies as well as whatever you have to go wheeling with. (Hwy legal) Connie will have the local club members and jeep club members lead trail rides.

This non-event will be more of a “Run whatcha Brung” type ride with a less structured feel.
Hope you can continue the fun with us!
RSVP REQUIRED

🏨 Lodging & Accommodations

Hotel

Coloma Cottages ↗
7 cottages, one with 3 bedrooms, right on the river. Plenty of level parking. The cottages are owned by the daughter of a long time member, and if we rent them all, there is a very nice place for a Saturday dinner. The cottages fill up, so plan ahead.

RV Park

Coloma Resort ↗
Probably the best for larger RV's. You can stay right on the American River, and the Resort has many amenities. They also have cabins of various types and camping spots, and the location is right in the middle of Marshal Gold Discovery Park
(530) 621-2267
American River Resort ↗
Also on the river; RV sites of various sizes, cabins on the river,
parking for trailers. Please check out their website, and ask for Katie if you call. She has put a hold on RV and cabin sites through October in order to give us the opportunity to have the best ones. They have now added an extra to where you need to book a rafting trip with one of their sites.
(530) 622-6700
Thousand Trails Ponderosa Resort ↗
RV hook ups near the river, located in Lotus near dining. They also
have cabins. Please check out their website. You do not need to be a member to reserve a spot. (530) 642-5830
Camp Lotus ↗
Camp Lotus is a very nice place on the river. It is worth checking
out.
