Torsion leaves

Hey does any body remember seeing something on how to remove the leaves to lighten the front end.

If it's a ball-joint front you can just remove the thin leaves as long as you remove them in whole stacks (of three). There's no need to cut packings like on a king & link front...

I am going to install a through bolt on the top of my KL beam,,Can you use a through bolt on a ball joint beam ????

Manx david your going to think i am stupid but what? and does it make a difference. do you have to redrill the leaves.

I've never used a thru bolt so wouldn't know, sorry. There's no re-drilling or anything needed on a balljoint beam; just pull whole stacks of thin leaves out (I usually remove them all) and toss them over the hedge...
