I recently purchased an original 1 piece Manx hardtop. Now I need to figure out how to get it from Texas to Chicago without it getting damaged. Anybody have any ideas?

They might not let you carry it onto an airplane. A plywood crate and a whole bunch of money may be the only way. 150 lbs seems to be a majic number for ups, dhl , etc. You should be under that.

Greyhound shipping is cheapest. Size limits are 30" x 47" x 82" and 100lbs. Doesn't have to be crated just wrapped. They ship from Greyhound terminal to terminal by bus. http://www.shipgreyhound.com/faq/
