I know, I know, I use the forums a lot. I just have lots of questions Well my buggy seems to be running good but the generator light flickers on/off when I'm idle, even after a warm up. What could this mean?? how do I fix? plus when it happens it sound like the buggy might died, we don't want a dead buggy on our hand, help me out. thanks trying to get it up and running great for big bear. Is your motor idling too slow maybe? I find around 900 RPM seems to work well. Otherwise, Sounds like the generator might be going away. Switch to an alternator when you replace it.

You might want to check the Generator brushes, as they wear they lose tension and can cause your flickering. Brushes can be changed with the Generator on the car.

Fixed it, just had to turn the idle up a hair, runs great now, thanks for all the help.
