Bud, Can you tell us the brand of paint and the color names (or #'s), you used?
Bud, Can you tell us the brand of paint and the color names (or #'s), you used?
Allen, I used Black Rust-oleum Gloss Protective Enamel spray paint; Testors Spray Enamel 1214 Yellow; Testors Gloss Enamel (small bottle model paint) 1145 White; and Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating. The picture I showed in the previous post is about 2 years old. Below is one I took this afternoon (the lighting is a little different). I wanted to show how well the paint has held up. Your milage may vary. I don't do any off-roading, it's all street driving. Lastly, I am no artist. I do know which end of a paint brush to hold, but that's the extent of it. Bud Image

I just got my body into the registry and ordered a fresh set of emblems. Winnie told me that the ones she is selling out of have slight flaws on the bottom of the Myers Manx name. When mine arrived, it had swirl marks that will be easily covered with the paint techique outlined above - that is a Great idea - looks good too.

Subi, Here are two pictures. The first one you can't see the swirl marks. In the second one you can. They are just below the Meyers text. Image Image
