I notice that when I post it attaches .rcbdunebuggy after my forum nick (louisb). Is there a way to remove this? I tried looking in the account settings but did not see how it could be done.

Just go into your profile and then "EDIT"
look at the top where you name is and it should be quite easy

Thanks for the tip but it does not appear that you can change the nic, just your actual name. I dont know why it is listing me as louisb.rbcdunebuggy on the forums.

It reads that way because your account was made as a local profile for the RBC forums. I've looked into this and unfortunately you cannot eliminate it. However, registering an account at the yuku home page will give you what's called a global account and not have the forum suffix attached.
