That's a great picture with two carbs, two distributers, and two alternators.  And the other pictures are great also.

Between Grand Prix (F1), Football (CFL), fundraising activities, server crash and getting my buggy ship shape for our big trip in a few weeks, progress has slowed right down.

In any case, I was able to get the rear wheels installed:

I found out that the S2000 does not have the same bore size front to back... When I ordered the adapters, I never thought of checking and used a front wheel for dimensions. Well that was a mistake. The hub bore is 70mm front and 64mm back. I was able to machine the wheels down to 70mm to match the front ones. Not only did this allow me to continue to use the custom adaptors but I`ll be able to mount them up front if we're ever in trouble.

Operation mariage...

Today marks another milestone, we test fitted the body on the pan.

Everything looks like it lines up perfectly. The seats will fit but we'll have a little adjustments to do.

We got the front discs replaced with the spacers.

Enjoy the rest of the camera roll.

Body will come down about 1", the seat brackets are holding it up about 1". We're very happy with the result!

Made more progress on France's buggy this week-end. France was a real help this weekend.

On the 'done' list this week-end:
  • Front bumper
  • Hood hinge
  • Rear bumper
  • Front support mount
  • Rear support mount
  • Oil filter mount and oil lines
  • Rear tail lights
  • Dash*

Got to work on the rear deck lid today.

Opted not to drill the bolts through the cover and contacted my good NC friend Vince for some advice. He recomended I source some pieces of Teak and bond them to the under side using 3M 5200.

We counter sank the SS bolts that we crilled the head to insert a cross pin to prevent them from turning when we tighten them. This stuff takes 48h to bond and up to 7 days to completly cure. We left it for the week to cure.

As always, France was on deck to get her hands dirty.

Now that we're back home and France and I were able to get some work done on her SS. We got the new tires mounted, we went with 255/50ZR-16 and 205/55ZR-16 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2. Looks like the 255 at the rear did the trick to fill the wheel well.

We also got the license plate mounted, I just need to fugure out what we want to do for license lights. At this time, I'm thinking LED bolts.

We got the gas tank modified and with a little more tweaking, we'll get it to fit.

Next time we're at the shop we should be able to button up the electrical and plum the fuel lines. We're getting close to making some noise.

Made a little bit of progress today. We also opted to remove the protective tape, we were worried it would get too hard to remove if we kept it on for too long and with the cold comming.

We rolled it out in the sunlight to snap a few pictures. Enjoy.
