Tow bar mounts for the front of my Buggy

Post by Momboy007 »

Hello All,
I currently have a Blue Ox towbar and would like to be able to use it on my Buggy, but do not know where to get the bracks that attach to the front Beam, I looked at the Blue Ox website and they want 350 for a baseplate for a VW Beetle, I know there has to be something out there better and much less expensive, but just do not know where to look

Thanks for any advice you can offer

The Blue Ox is a great tow bar, but you are not towing a large Jeep or Tahoe. You are pulling a 1500 to 1700 pound buggy.

Why spend $200.00 plus on converting the Blue Ox to pull a buggy?

Buy the tow bar from CIP1 and convert the buggy wiring to work with a simple plug/unplug option on the front of the buggy.

Add a set of new safety chains/cables, and then get on with enjoying the rest of your life.

I have to agree with Bud on this.
