Does anyone know what the closest major airport is to Effingham? And how many miles away it is? Is anyone trailering out from the East Coast with a big trailer and need extra gas money? Thank you,

I would think that it would be St. Louis. Lambert Field I think. Don would know better then me. My wife is from St Louis area and I worked for the forest service in my past life in Southern Illinois. But that was a LONG time ago. Hope this helps Gary

Lambert International to Effingham

Post by Don Giovanoni »

Lambert International (St. Louis) is the closest Major airport. Driving time to Effingham is more like 2 hours 15 minutes...

Bruce will do all of that, smile, treat you like a long lost friend, tell you a great story and not charge for it, unlike some other celebrities. Tom

The VW club I belong to, The Southside Buggistas took a tour of the Mid-America Motorworks facility last weekend. Aside from being a top notch facility we were told they are planing a Poker Run/cruise Saturday afternoon followed up by a Chuck Wagon/bonfire with a band for Saturday night. Should be a great time.

Anyone driving from the SE to MAM?

Post by monocoque »

I will be towing the monocoque up to the show. Leaving Thursday night (6PM) and driving to Lawrenceburg Indiana. Leaving there about noon on Friday. We will be towing the buggy from there as well. Anyone else heading up and over? Also, it woudl be interesting to line up all of the manxes based on their serial numbers versus club affiliation etc. Chris
