Dune Buggy Art

Post by rzeller »

I thought I'd share with you all some art work I commissioned from a friend at work. Before any one bashes me for the Manx badge on the front, I have to tell you that this is based on my buggy (original picture below the art). The only change from the original picture and the art work is that my storage box was added. I've got a couple of variation of the same picture in my gallery. Bud Image Image Image
Nice work Bud  Tee Shirt printing next??
Mel, That's my plan. I need to decide on the background for the picture and then get some pricing on the silk screening. I'm guessing I'll have sticker shock when I find out how much it'll be  Thanks, Bud

Bud, You could always try what I've done for my Honda Trail CT90-CT110 friends. Printing quality is pretty good (not exactly screen printing quailty, but close) and they go thru the same amount of washing's (I've had mine about 2 years, maybe 20 washings, still looks very good). Excellent quality fabrics. And, I like the idea of other products that you can put your "art" on. And, there's absolutely NO cost to you for the free store. You can either have NO markup or increase the cost a little or a lot (the choice is yours). I add $2-$3 to help pay for a forum and a web site yearly fees.

I have a screen printing shop up here in Baltimore and would give you an at cost price for a fellow Manx owner. My Business partner vacations in Wrightville beach every summer and want me to find some NC work. If your quantiies are low I can point you in the right direction for some high quality, ink jet, direct to gament printers. ping me back if I can help Cheers, Moondoggy jack@pirategraphics.com

Not a silk screen, but you can't beat the price. Once I decide on the final version I'll post the link in case anyone is interested. Thanks again for the info. Bud

Bud, Yes they do nice work, glad it worked out for you. I'll be waiting for the web link to your Cafepress Store. Your design is pretty darn good, let's see more of that kind of stuff. They also just started doing embroidery and your desing might look good that way, too!
