Hi Gary,

I looked at the 211 and liked it but the price is a bit high. For a little more I could get a used Syncrowave Tig. $800 is sort of my limit atm for a new welder.

Thanks,

Hi Gary,

After giving it more thought I decided to pop for the 211. I didn't want to end up in the same situation I did with the 140 and out grow it in a year. Thanks for giving me the info, though my wife may not be as happy with you. :D Now I just need to sell the 140 to recoup some of the costs. lol

Thanks,

I understand my wife is never happy with me. I tell u baker gas in Ohio is were i got mine shipped it straight to the house. It was the best price at the time.   bakersgas.com current price is 1012.99  with free shipping. it has went up since i got mine. I was welding something in the garage. I had to move could not reach the part when i moved so i had to plug in some were else of course i couldn't reach the 240 outlet no problem i could use the 120 plug that is why i brought it. It is versatile. it does weld good. I just finished helping my friend collect parts to turn a inventer into a tig welder we dont even have a 100.00 bucks in the hole thing. let me know how it goes.
