What is that kind of small "T" shaped gasket material called that you use between the hood & body to keep it from rattling?  And where do you get it?  An internet search can take a really long time when you don't know exactly what the name of an item is!

Thanks!

Most people use the welting that's used for regular VW Beetle fenders, it's sort of 'tadpole' shaped in section and is available in various colors from Bugpack and the likes. I tend to use a larger section of welt (or beading as we call it in the UK), 3/8" dia. which is useful on cars where the hood to body fit is less than perfect (which is most in my experience).

Here's the regular stuff...

Here's the fatter stuff on another Manx I built...

And here's the front of my Manx with the fatter stuff fitted...

Upholstery shops can also supply the beading/welting. You could have them make it up to match the color of your piping on your seats.
