From what I can see in your photos, you've turned the alternator about 90 degrees so its pulley lines up with the crank pulley. What about your cooling fan, what turns it??? Any closeup photos???

It's electric, comes on when the key comes on. A buddy of mine modified the fan shroud and fabbed the mounting brackets so now the belt is straight. I've had this setup now for over ten years with out any problems. I will try this weekend to get a couple close ups.

Very interesting cooling fan setup. Most of the guys on the Corvair sites say it won't work efficiently enough, but yours looks a bit different than most I've seen! Can't hardly wait to see it in person! Thanks for the photos.
