Tom and I are planning on attending the Lake Tahoe sans buggy. Therefore, we are each asking for a seat in someone's buggy. So if you have an extra seat in your buggy, please let us know. One of us would be thrilled to have a ride with you. Consider it your opportunity to indocrinate a dedicated street buggy person in the off-road, California ways. Jimbo, do you have an open seat? Has anybody here towed a buggy behind a 5th wheel trailer. I want to camp at Richardsons vs a hotel or cabin. I am going to the DMV today to check on the requirments. I'm sure I will need a Class A. Any comments?

Not only would you need a class A license, but you would have to have an endorsement for Doubles. A couple of years ago one of the members got a ticket for pulling the camper trailer and a buggy together. He had a class A, but not the endorsement. I believe that the class A is also not a full class A since it is not for commercial use. Check with the DMV, or even better, the AAA for the answer.

I do not want to stretch the law into a gray area. I will check. We really enoyed ourselfs at Big Bear. Our only negative was not having our rig with us.

Just found out by a fellow club member that Camp Richardson can not take 40' RVs. Besure and tell them how long your rig is when making reservations. I know the campground is tight with trees.

We're camping at Fallen Leaf due the to NO PETS policy :( at camp Richardson and I gotta bring my road dogs. Fallen leaf camps RV's and tent's but no hook-ups. So if you gotta bring a furry companion check this place out. http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreatio ... camp.shtml check it out,

Buggy Bob, do we have to pay the Manx Club Registration Fee ($30) if we are not camping at Richardson? Thanks,
