It is with much regret that the Manx Club is Officially CANCELING the Manx in the sunshine event scheduled for March 31 to April 4 2021.
Florida’s current health guidelines in response to COVID-19 states All local business that are able to open are operating at reduced capacities along with “social distance” guidelines. As such our venue does not have common areas open fully and the bar and restaurants are limited hours. As a 501(c)(7) Non-profit organization we must adhere to these guidelines as part of the requirements of our insurance provider that covers our events.
Manx Club events are centered around a family style social interaction. Our members include those in high risk categories, including our founders Winnie & Bruce Meyers. We cannot at this time host an Official Manx Club event that attains the level of social interaction that we have all come to enjoy. We must also respect the concerns of those during these unprecedented times.
If you have made lodging reservations, it is up to you to update your arrangements.
