What's going on with the rest of the teams for NORRA, come on! post some pictures.

let's get the NORRA spirit up.

Today we started the motor build, should be ready by the end of the week.

Transmission open and all looks good there, get it back together, fill her up and go.

what are you guys doing on your buggies?

what are you taking for spares?

I'm officially out on running my Manx. My fabrication expense was way more than I expected and to be frank all the little stuff is going to take more time than I have. I'm actually working on mounting my rear bilstein shocks right now.

I will be with my early bronco team.

Did you guys see the tech package everyone is taking about over on race-desert about another $200 expense.

Looking forward to seeing all of you down there.

Sad to hear you are not running your Manx.

we are running against the clock down here, but someway or another we will make it there.

I already have the Stella hardware from the Baja 1000 last year, didn't get a chance to see it working but all I heard was good things about it.

Whatever it take to make this sport safer!

see you all in Ensenada, already here!

The crew has been busy. Chassis is complete, roll cage is almost done and I am hoping to have it running for the Retro Run. There is still a lot to do, but we will get there.

Well we're not done yet, Brad is still trying to sort out the spaghetti of electrical wires,

We will also find a way to get the DSBE completed in time, hopefully a shake down run at Borrego. I've got some great help from my #302 teammates.

Keep going, only 41 days left until the NORRA Mexican 1000.

Transmission is being rebuilt and closing the block on the motor this weekend.

New front suspension and rear arms, all being reinforced at MemoMan shop in Ensenada, found a great 1969 VW donor.

With twins on the way I have to do all the prep before the arrive home on March 21st. yes, 1 month before the race.

Mike.....I have the same Jamar pedal set up.....in that photo it looks like you are "hanging" the clutch and brake? I had forgotten you mentioned you are running a fuel safe cell behind a firewall in the backseat area? Do you have or can you share a photo of what your pedal setup installed looks like?

I saw that the Tow'd that Mark Landon has (built by the Australians) has the same pedal set with a custom box....that blue Tow'd has TONS of neat custom touches.

I wanted to run those Jamar pedals but looks like they won't fit (I'm going to try and play around with them this weekend)....since I've got a 3" body lift I'm wondering if there is still someway I can floor mount them and have the reservoirs miss the fuel tank under the hood.

Juan, Congrats on the twins! I had my baby girls 1 year dr appointment today and her sister is 15 months older. Its a brutal time investment and I do a fraction of what my wife does..... a driving factor on why my effort to get the build done before NORRA has stalled....and again, frankly running out of money..... Getting a "hall pass" to spend time on the Manx is tough.

Maybe these are what you are looking for.

Eventually I will remove the rear fuel cell and convert to a front mount tank, the hanging pedals will not be an issue.

WOW! I'm truly impressed with your build Mike! That's pic of your pedal assembly should be blown up and framed!

PS. Don't forget to mount the "Go fast" pedal!

Even though it was a week late for the Manx Run, the Inchworm made it out to the Anza Borrego Desert yesterday. Driven out and back with a bunch of trails in between for about 200 miles on the day.

Your entry is going to be one of the most "original" looking for sure.

Looks great, and will be neat to meet you down in Ensenada.

Changing to hotels....does everyone have something locked in for Loreto? We have 1 room as it seems NORRA or the guy they are using has everything under their control.
