For the record...still interested!
I had no idea that Dead Horse State (thanks for the correction, my bad) wasn't part of the grand canyon, I've never seen it before then and it looked pretty big LOL

Me too. I am planning a full week, but it is three days out and three back, so more like 3 days there for me.

This looks to be a great event. Will this be an official event for next year?

Tim, it would have to go through this process first:

We just had a GREAT week at Moab with other buggy folks. Here's a video of a trail that we took while traveling through Arches National Park. The wife is just OK at taking videos, but we sure had a BLAST. It's amazing what these things can do...

Sounds like a good time!

Can you re-set the privacy on the video? I cannot view it due to being private.

Definitely interested in going back next year! Club event or not, we will try to be there. The one issue I see is that there is soooooo much to see there, you can't even do it justice over one weekend. We were there for 12 days a couple years back and we saw only a small fraction of what is there to be explored.

FulsGld, ditto on the video :( .

Just throwing this out there.

For the Eastern buggies, I am thinking of running Route 66 from near OK City to Chicago, (or near enough to stay away from the traffic and tolls) on my return trip home. Might take about 3 days doing this.

Day 1, Moab through 4 Corners to Amarillo TX.
Day 2, Amarillo TX to Springfield MO.
Day 3, Springfield MO to Joliet IL.

Then day 4 onward to home.

Any interest in something like this?
