Sprint bar mounting

Hey guys, I'm looking for any tips or tricks to mounting sprint bars on my buggy. It is a 1970 pan. I realize now that these were meant to be mounted on the body of a bug and do not fit right. Yet I've seen them mounted on many of your buggies at the meets. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey Fark, I once tried to mount a set of baja bug bars on my buggy. The bug bars are shaped for a regular pan and Im guessing your buggy is shortened. The only way to make this work is to lengthen your buggy or shorten the baja bars and re bend them to form around your pan. Plan B would be to give those to a person with a baja and make yours from scatch. Good Luck Bob Hunter
