Good morning, looks like the teams are eager to get going... Got Mike's update at 7:45am (EST) or 4:45am their time!

Day 1 report

Day 1 driver/Navigator teams.
#00 Brad Connell-Paul Brandt
#166 Andrew Westwood-Mike Dario

Driver & Navigator to change seats probably in Catavina before entering the off road section. Day 1 will end in Bahia De Los Angeles with most likely no internet service hopefully phone. Race starts at 0700 with vehicles spaced at 60 second intervals, we may not get off the line until around 0800. Team Tow'd will stop at race mile 100 for fuel around Way point 83, around the town of Colonet. The Tow'd only has a 10 gallon tank and we are not sure of our range yet.

Here goes nothing!

The car numbers come up when you do a search, but no info comes up. Still before 8 so they probably haven't left the starting line yet. maybe after they hit the course will we be able to follow them.

Mike called and he said that the dual sport will be taking off at 8:27 and the Tow'd at 8:28. The dual sport # on the website may show up as #1000 not #000.

I have the TOWD (#166) moving on the course at 8:28am (Pacific Time).

Also the Manxter as #00 on the road at 8:27am (PDT)

Looks like both cars stopped. Maybe they're busy shopping for gifts for their wives.
