We'll I thought it was about time I posted an update, I finally finished the fabrication and got the chassis to the powder painter in
January. Now the fun part, putting it all together for the final time.

With Big Bear fast approaching I thought I'd post an update.
Transmission ready for installation.
Motor back from Outfront and ready for installation.
Front suspension pretty much done.
Next major project will be wiring
Big Bear or Bust.

After 5 1/2 years DS025 was finally up and running (I say running since there never really finished) just in time for Big Bear.
After putting about 300 miles on the Dual Sport we only had a few minor issues, I'm really impressed by the drive ability of the Subaru.
So far all the miles have been on the street so the next thing on the list will be to make the skid plates and take it off road to get the suspension sorted out.

The drive-ability of the Subaru in the NORRA Subie tow'd is what sold me also, pair that with some more modern technology and parts availability. I'm looking forward to hear how your suspension package shakes out.
