My Burro

Post by steve heckert »

My Special Burro. For those of you who do not know who Les Chaot is, he was a off road racer back in the 60s and early 70s. He owned "Les' Auto Salvage" in Compton Ca. He built Burros and raced Burros and also supplied parts to Tiny Thompson who owned the Burro Company in Santa Ana Ca. This is a Les Choat built Burro, it was that last Burro frame built by Tiny before he closed down the Burro company.

Steve sent me pics of both Burros he's restored. All I can say is WOW! I was blown away just by the level of detail in graphics he had made for the car, never mind the mechanics of it. Nice work Steve. (But, don't you have a lime green one too? Or, is this the lime green one redone?) Scott
