Adjustable Beam Questin

Post by Don Giovanoni »

I have an adjustable ball joint beam on my Siggy. I am thinking of raising the front end some. Will this effect the alignment (toe)?

Unless you are going from one extreme to the other the toe change should be minimal.

Any time you make chassis adjustments you should have the alignment checked. It sort of goes hand in hand with raising or lowering the front ride height. This sort of leads me to another question. When checking the toe on your buggy should you have the fuel tank filled to the top, half way, or nearly empty?

If you want to get right down to it... the buggy should have the driver and possibly the passenger in it as well, when it's aligned. In the end, It's all a compromise. :D
