Where is the Vin # on a tow'd , I have a pan with Non Op and would like to use that for my build

That would depend.. .depending on how far back the torsion housing is cut... I know they would originally be in the place where they usually are on a beetle if that part of the housing is still there. Otherwise, I know Craig welded mine back in on the front of the housing where he capped it off.
