The front fenders on my Towdster starting to take shape to cover the wider stance and longer up travel . These will be strengthened up and cleaned up and then us3ed as plugg's to make a mold and make some new fenders .
And if they don't look that much different to stock Towdster guards ( thats a good thing by the way ) the definetly are as they all but cover my 6' 3" width of the front end

Actually Mike, those picture links were already broken before the conversion. I think the source of the pictures may have changed. Hopefully Andrew can restore those.

Ok it's been a while again since the last post , but still moving forward , will let the pictures speak

Designed , cut , folded and fitted a dash panel

Image

Mounted the oil cooler , it's a Towd , space is tight , and i didn't like the idea of the oil radiator drawing hot air off the top of the gearbox and or the hot from said radiator getting drawn into the cool air inlet on the fan shroud

Image

Image

Cut and folded up some headlight brackets

Image

The alloy fuel tank in place , with the cut out area in the bottom to get around the hydralic lines of the fiddlers

Image

Image

MMMMMMMMMM Starting to get the final items welded out

Pull it apart , put it together , sleep , and repeat

Yes it's back together again at the moment as Buggy Brad has been back over here in Oz among other things wiring a lot of the car for me

Dash is pretty well done although i think i'll drop the second skin around the speedhut guages , it was just an idea and the final one was to be cut out of alloy and polished
Image

Wiring everywhere and being a towd space for items is fast running out , with the fuse box , 100 amp breaker , cig lighter , icom 440 uhf radio , (yes we can run UHF here in Aus) and the balast for the LED light bar
Image

Switching for the following from left to right , Wipers , Horn , steering column , Interior light , LED light bar , Headlights with ignition underneath
Image

Remote oil filter with sensor fitted to activate thermo fan on the oil cooler
Image

And how it currently sits in full , yep theres plenty still to do , but it's getting there finally
