Meyers Manx Shift Knob

Post by jsturtlebuggy »

At Big Bear, Bruce & Winnie introduced the new Meyers Manx Shift Knob.
They come in Black or Polished Aluminum.  They fit the late style shifter with 12mm threads. Using the included adapter they will fit the early stock VW shifters.  Also will fit Hurst/EMPI Trigger shifters using the adapter. Most likely will fit other shifters with 5/16, 3/8 or small metric thread.
These are pictures of the black one I bought.
Also from Meyers Manx shift knobs for Gene Berg shifters.
Contact Winnie at Manx Store for more information.

Many were bought at the Big Bear event.

Loctite does not work in nylon/plastic.

Opps! it looked like from your last 4 pictures that you didn't use the nylon/plastic insert. Awfully sorry for the blunder.

That's cool. Any idea if they will be available in the Manx store?

Welcome jqarrettg to the Manx Club site.

Best thing to do would be to call Winnie Meyers (Bruce's wife) and talk to her about the shift Knobs.

The shift knobs that fit stock and other threads comes in the black and polished aluminum. You can also buy a Geng Berg shifter with Meyers Manx engraved or the round emblem in the knob from Meyers Manx.

Another thing that is available are the Bruce Meyers Signature Wheels that not on the store site.

You have to understand that Meyers Manx INC is not a big operation. Bruce and Winnie with Bruce's helper are it.

Sometimes there is a lag for getting things on the store site.

The wheels were introduced at the Manx Club event at Calico in March and the shift knobs were first shown at the Big Bear event in July of this year. It is where I found out about them.

Keep checking back on the site and tell us about your buggy and you.
