HOW TO SPOT A FAKE MANX

Post by lastmanx »

the truth is, it's very difficult. it's easier to create a fake than find a real one. exact copies of manxes were being made and sold back in the 1960's. it is why Bruce Meyer sued in court with his patent. even back then Bruce found inferior copies being sold, that were hurting his reputation of a quality buggy. well history shows he lost the court case; thus unable to prevent cheap copies from being sold. I only mention this as lately there has been interest in the hunt of early untagged Manx buggys. I only want newbies to understand copies and fakes are out there. Bruce knew it , but courts didn't care. well now you know it. the good news is you can buy a brand new Manx body today from the Manx store. as to price; the Manx was never meant to be a cheap bargain; which is why cheap fakes were created. save your money and buy a real Manx from the store when you can. the chances of finding a fake are greater than finding a real Manx. SO BUYER BE WARE .
