Always loved the Bosch fuel injection system. I have owned VW 411 and 412 wagons in past years - as well as buggies w/ 2L fuel-injected engines. Not sure why you want "all new parts" - but the biggest drawback I found running the Bosch system was with corrosion of the electrical contacts in the brain. I found that as long as I kept all the brain and connector contacts clean and dry, I could expect reliable service. I used Dow DC-3 dielectric grease on every connection. But - I also carried a spare carb/manifold setup if I headed very far into the boonies!
