Not only that, but there were 4 separate bidders at $500 or more.

Good luck to them, I'd want the body for that price as well.

The seller admits he'd painted it too so who knows what condition it was in.

I paid $100 for one from England but I have pretty much decided not to use it. Maybe I should eBay it to help pay for the car.

A Manx 2 would be more correct with a sticker anyway. I got some nice Manx 2 stickers off French eBay a while back, send me your address and I'll send you a couple.

Thanks but I have an alternative in mind. I have someone who is going to make a Tiki style badge to go in place of the Manx logo. Just a little something different. I also don't plan to run the rear MANX script. Though I did think it would be funny to get one of the knockoff badges for the front and run it since mine is a real Manx as opposed to people who put the real badges on non-Manxs. But I figured no one would find it as funny as I did.

I was hoping to make mine a bit different by fitting a Manxter hood badge but  Winnie won't sell me the latter as it would be 'period imperfect'...Image

I think there is a green Manx in the UK with SR badges that looks really sweet.

David Thanks for the RAK. I'd like to return the kindness but you didn't have a return address  on the envelope.
Please send it to us in an email "bryant@redwaymail.net"
Thanks again.
