There are several companies that make 80.5" Chassis for buggies. They have the original rear torsion welded in, but everything else is tubular steel. They are available with either king pin or ball joint front ends and swing axle or IRS rears. I am using a Berrien Chassis in my build - a 60s Manx Clone. but there are others.
