It's really hard to see the details of the body with the wild paint job. Some closer pictures of the hood, dash and rear of the buggy would help. The 62 is probably the year of the floor pan it was built on. Dune buggy archives is a good web site to help identify buggy. There are many pictures of many types of bodies.

So what is the story with the VanHalen wrap. I am guessing it was used as a promotional tool at one point.
Post a picture of the rear of the buggy and we can see if it is a California Clipper.
Can anyone out there help me identify my buggy? Title i received is from Michigan and says 62 roadster, I have looked and i think it might be a Sandwinder or California Clipper. The reason I think this is because of the hood ridges. Any help would be appreciated.
