Re: Fastest Buggy Around ..... Meyers Manx Kick-Out Tradiona
I didn't see a seam in the floor pan halves when cut and rejoined. how do you do that it looked awesome. Thanks for the feedback, they are there but we cut them on the rear seam so once done they look factory. If you have a look at this thread you will sort of see where we cut it, not to many good ...

Re: Fastest Buggy Around ..... Meyers Manx Kick-Out Tradiona
With the Buggy Pan taken care of it was time to turn our attention to the rest of the Buggy. Now a lot of people may think the way we build a buggy a bit crazy as we spend more time preparing than actually building, well at least it seems it some times  So we have been ordering the parts we ne...

Re: Fastest Buggy Around .....
Solid base means a solid buggy. The Turn Key Manx Pan is built, sealed and ready for action. Being this was part of a Turn Key Manx / Meyers Manx Special it got one of the Meyers Manx Tunnel Covers and Serial Numbers http://www.meyersmanx.info/ManxInfoGallery/var/resizes/Meyers-Manx-Kickout/Kick-Out...

Re: Fastest Buggy Around .....
When it comes time to do the floor pan halves we use only Heavy Duty units from Wolfsburg West. It is important that all corners are cleaned of any old pan traces. We do this with a die grinder so we know it is smooth . http://www.meyersmanx.info/ManxInfoGallery/var/resizes/Meyers-Manx-Kickout/Kick-...

Re: Fastest Buggy Around .....
When it comes to buggy building it is very important that you have solid bones. Every Turn Key Manx Build is done on one of our fully rebuilt VW based Floor Pan or Custom Tube Chassis. In this case we will be using a Type 1 Based Floor pan which is IRS in the back and Ball Joint up front. The pan is...

Re: Fastest Buggy Around .....
The Build begins like most with finding a suitable Donor Bug. As we prefer to use Twin Port 1600 Engines and IRS Transmissions we started with a 71 Super Bug. Although this means we can't easily use the floor pan that was ok as we have a good stock of Ball Joint / IRS Pans with clear title. The Car ...

Fastest Buggy Around ..... Meyers Manx Kick-Out Tradional
Well when it comes to building fast buggies you may think I am talking about building a buggy that will go quickly ... now although I don't mind a bit of speed in this case I am talking about building a buggy quickly. With Bruce's Birthday not to far away we have just started building the last of ou...

Re: 2016 Manx Club Wall Calendars - Pre-Order Starts Now!
So are these Official Manx Club Calendars or are they just something you are doing on the side with the intent of passing on what you perceive as being profit to the club as a donation ? I mainly ask as it seems a bit strange to be using a personal PayPal Address if they are "Manx Club Items &q...

Re: The Road to Mexican 1000- Building a Manxter DualSports
you will want a Mk2 boob if you are running a Subaru Transmission with a Subaru Engine in a Manxter 2+2 without lift kit.
The original boob is the only one offered in body colour and depending on your setup you may get away with it.
