I have had great results with C B Performance brake kits. Not the cheapest but great for the money. Kathleen's Manxter has over 40,000 miles on it and still has original pads & rotors. AC Industries pads were terrible, had to be replaced right away. Tom

When you 1st posted about your carb issues, I thought that might be the issue. Is that a FiberFab Clodhopper body? My 1st buggy was one of those. Tom

What distributor do you have on your engine? If it is a 009, that could be the problem. There are changes that must be made to the stock style carb to run with that distributor to get rid of the "flat spot". Tom

You are just going to have to pull the engine out, take it apart and start measuring the bore & stroke to figure out what you have, and then order the parts based on that. After all these years, the original number on the block doesn't mean much. Post some pictures of the heads after you measure...
