My roller pedal does the same thing. I added a thin washer between the pedal and the housing to counter the effect. Still has play but it is a bit less now.

Well, the buggy is back in the garage in semi hibernation. Temps dropped and the rains came and are expected to remain for at least a week. Post errand report: Looks good. Handled well, a bit more balanced. No clunks or loud scary noises. I do think I need to sync my carbs though. Anyhow, I measured the car once I got it back into the garage. Looks like it settled about a 1/2" or so, it's measuring 8 1/2" front and rear.

I plan on it. I have a couple errands to run tonight after work. I'll give it a good workout then, check the handling, alignment, etc..
