Re: Shifter with trigger
I just spoke with the original owner of the buggy and it has a very very short throw shift on it, should I go with something more conventional?

Shifter with trigger
Hello All,
Another question for you, I just got this buggy and I do not like the shifter on it, it has a pull up type trigger to find reverse and I have a hard time finding first gear, seems I keep finding 3rd gear just fine, any recommendations?
Thanks all again,
Rick

How to soften suspension if possible
Hello All,
Is there any way to soften up the suspension on a stock VW link pin and swing axle buggy? I already have very nice seats and I am old and not looking for Hot Rod suspension, just go to the mountains with buggy to view the scenery
Thanks all in advance
Rick

Tow bar mounts for the front of my Buggy
Hello All, I currently have a Blue Ox towbar and would like to be able to use it on my Buggy, but do not know where to get the bracks that attach to the front Beam, I looked at the Blue Ox website and they want 350 for a baseplate for a VW Beetle, I know there has to be something out there better an...

Re: Where is my brake master cylinder located?
Hello All, I did find the brake plunger (connected to front side of Brake Pedal) and the reservoir for the brake fluid, located on the right hand side, just underneath the hood and behind the front right tire, it appears it gravity feeds to the plunger assy. I am going to go through this system this...

Where is my brake master cylinder located?
Hello All,
I am trying to find my master cylinder for my brakes. Are the hoods removable on my car?
Thanks all in advance
(I feel like such a dummy asking)

Need somewhere to take my buggy for repair/restoration
Hello All,
I have decided that I want to take my buggy to be repaired and restored, I know it will be expensive, but I have overcome this, I live in Temecula Ca and was wondering who you might recommend to bring my little baby back to life
Thanks all for your great advice
