Re: FOUND: Monocoque No. ?
What a great photo Nelson! Thank you so much for posting it!!! I'm still hopeful that Jack Jensen's son (who is most likely the passenger in that photo) uncovers some more.

Shuffle off to Buffalo! Really.
2013 was the Sea-to-Sea Safari. 2014 was the NORRA 1000 Cabo San Lucas Run. The time has come to plan the Shuffle Off to Buffalo run in June of 2015! Manx Club Member Marc "Frizzy" Frisicaro is contemplating organizing an event in Buffalo, New York, in June of next year. It's about 2500 mi...

Rudi Mueller - June 17th, 2014
It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Mr. Rudi Mueller on Tuesday, June 17th. Rudi and Marlise have been a fixture at almost every club event, going back to the formation of the club. He will be dearly missed. Please hold Marlise and the rest of the Mueller family in your thoughts an...

Re: Updating my '67 Manx UPDATED PHOTOS
An update on the Manx is way past due. David delivered the car to me at the Buellton Run back in April and it's been difficult to pry me out of it ever since. It only had 300 miles on it when David handed me the keys, so we both felt it was time to test it a little farther. I know David wasn't worri...

Re: El Prado Regional Park 2014
Wrecker looks great Jay, with all of its powder-coated roll bar fabrication. Ugh! The garage fire 23 window deluxe is a heart breaker! At least it looks like the bones are still there to bring it back! Thank you for posting!

Re: FOUND: Monocoque No. ?
With Big Bear rapidly approaching, I finally found a weekend where I'm not doing something that takes me away from the garage. So, I started rubbing out the monocoque today to see what I'm working with. The paint is thick and pretty beat up, but, it is what it is. I doubt it'll be running by Big Bea...

Re: The El Tejon Manx
Hey Nelson. Doug did not non-op it, in fact he had to go to the DMV to get a replacement title. He should be able to reuse the plats and he has front and back. They should waive the penalties since he's a car collector. I don't think the wiring is horrible, it has a fuse box that takes glass fuses (...

Yes, Nelson, You're right. The picture you attached is the same as the front bumper on this car.

The El Tejon Manx
I offered to pick up a early Meyers Manx on behalf of Club Member Marc Frisicaro of Buffalo, New York. Marc had been dreaming of buying this Manx ever since last year's Manx on the Banx, but the asking price was simply too high. Eventually, Marc negotiated a price that he and the seller could live w...

Re: 2014 Baja Tour
I finally uploaded my pictures, and even though they mirror Mike and Lori Ann's, I thought I'd share them. I'm ready to plan a second trip already, this time for two weeks, so we can explore more than just a couple of the dusty side roads we had to rush by. A beautiful place that needs more time to...

Re: Manx Roof
Good eye, Tom. Yep, lower those seats till they're just an inch or so off the floor, and back a little farther towards the rear of the car. It'll be more comfortable, too, with the sides of the buggy coming up higher to act as an armrest your driving arm. I agree with the other comments. The roolbar...

Re: Soft top materials and parts suppliers
I use sewing and snap tools I've bought from marine supplier http://www.sailrite.com. Buy your materials from Tom Thompson. Not only are his prices fair, he's got years of experience and can give you advice on what you'll need.
