Questions ???????

Now that the Manx Club will soon be operating under a newly revised set of by-laws will all meeting of the Manx Club Board of Directors be published before the meeting date and time, with enough time for interested parties/ members to attend/monitor? I am also curious as to where a copy of the follo...

Re: Suspension Questions & Input

Most folks are looking at a way to soften it up a bit, so I am at a loss as to why you want to stiffen up the suspension on the front of a Manx. If you want stiff, make sure that all of the spring leaves are in the front torsion tubes, Keep the anti-sway bar on the front, use gas shocks, and be sure...

Re: Manxter Hood Prop Ideas

I would guess that the gas struts are 40# or 60# and have a travel of 12".

Your closest NAPA auto parts store can look them up, once you figure out what is needed.

Keep in mind that you need to control what the hood does when it is in the open position.

Re: NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS

I think that a copy of all correspondence sent to feedback@manxclub.com should also be posted here. This will help to eliminate duplicate items being sent to those who are using the feedback mailbox.

It will also help all of the membership to see what is happening on this item.

Re: NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS

A quick scan reveals that you might have missed something. You picked up a lot of incorrect punctuation and grammar. Here is a miss: "ARTICLE XX: DISSOLUTION OF THE CORPORATION If the Manx Club board of directors concludes that the corporation can no longer continue to function in the manner in...

Re: Manxter headlight aiming

You are really testing my memory on the details, as it has been over 10 years. There is a rectangular slot that the mounting bolt for the lights fits in. I used a dremel tool to remove material and elongate the slot. You want to remove the material that will the lamp to be positioned in a more verti...

Re: Manxter headlight aiming

My experience with the aiming of the Manxter headlights has been that if the front end of the vehicle is pulled down even a little bit, there is most likely going to be a problem with the adjustment of the lights. I wanted the front lowered and like the results of adjusting the torsion leaves, and s...

Re: NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS

I have started to review the proposed changes to the ByLaws, with the existing By-Laws. There are over 20 pages to look at. Does anyone have a list of the proposed changes/additions so that all of the members do not have to do an letter by letter comparison, in order to determine what the proposal r...

NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS

Is everyone aware that there is a very good chance that there will be some new changes to the Manx Club ByLaws, on May 06, 2016. You are strongly encouraged to read the proposal elsewhere in this forum. The proposed changes were posted in a locked thread on the MC Forum, for comment on 22 April, 201...

Re: Tow bar mounts for the front of my Buggy

The Blue Ox is a great tow bar, but you are not towing a large Jeep or Tahoe. You are pulling a 1500 to 1700 pound buggy. Why spend $200.00 plus on converting the Blue Ox to pull a buggy? Buy the tow bar from CIP1 and convert the buggy wiring to work with a simple plug/unplug option on the front of ...

Camping at the Carlisle event camping area, short cruise run on Saturday PM, a group dinner at a nice restaurant.

Details usually released 2-3 weeks prior to event.

Sometimes I see them at swap meets, Samba Classifieds, and flea markets.
