Tall Tires
Best check out your gearing on the transaxle if it's a stock unit. Tall tires tend to bog down the whole system. Standard gears and tall tires cause the engine to run slower, causing overheating, low oil pressure, and third gear driving to keep up the speed, and the RPM's. Best to keep around 29&quo...

Have glassed two of Bruce's dashs to get a larger pod for the gauges. Steering assembly is out of a wrecked 914 Porsche, with a locking steering column.

washer
I wish it were true, But alas the washer that comes in the rebuild kit is just small enough (OD) to fall right out the bearing end cap.. I've been down that road with my local VW part shop. Believe me, the washer I'm looking for does not come in a rebuild kit. It is not in a VW parts catalog......So...
