Hot Rod Magazine Photo Shoot

That video is awesome. I've been watching hot rod unlimited for awhile and have always enjoyed it. I need to get out and work on the buggies again.

Chris For me I like the beetle tail lights with the chrome light. I also like the stock steering wheel, but I like big steering wheels and I'm only 5'6'' so its easy for me to get around it. As far as the front I woulds make a new set of z brackets that incorparate the exsisting holes, but use a jac...

skid plate

Joseph,

I love what you did with the frame, I wish I would have thought of doing something like that with my race tow'd. I bet it would help a lot with the cowl and steering wheel shake.

Buellton/Los Olivos/Figueroa Mountain

Talking with my father, we came to the conclusion that the hitch pin probably fell out sometime on the freeway. He remembers hearing more then the usual clanking. We are guessing that the safety chain was short enough that it didn't allow the the manxter to move far enough away from the truck to all...

Buellton/Los Olivos/Figueroa Mountain

Man what a trip. It seemed the buggy gods were against us at times, but then they seemed to help other times. We were only able to join everyone on sat, so we got up early and headed to Buellton. It was the first time taking the burro anywhere as Dad and I finished thrashing it together the night be...

France's new Manx Kickout SS build thread.

Jay,

I love the idea of running 356 parts on the kickout. I can't wait to see pics of the body.

BTW tell us more about the tow'd heading to France. Yours is the third one that I have heard of being shipped there recently. Are tow'ds reproducing there?

Hmmmmm

Weber Jet swap?

Richard, I have had good luck running a single weber on the manxter for the past few years. Everyone told me that it wouldn't work well but I had it and wanted to try it. It's a 40idf on a cb performance manifold with the heat risers connected. I followed the jetting suggested in cb performace's web...

Quiet Dual Exhaust

Here is my last project for the year. I added a set of Suzuki Hayabusa mufflers on the Tow'd and liked them so much I thought that the Burro would need the same. So here are the parts. Thanks again Scott for the headers, the mufflers came from ebay, and a standard 3 bolt flange. First, I cut off the...

Manx II #1493 Build

Louis, I also agree. Take some time away. After I bought the Tow'd, I took it to Pismo and after the trip started to take it apart to rebuild it. After the engine and trans was out, I had a few setbacks and it sat for a year. I would got out and look at it, but that was about it. Then I noticed that...

Taking a walk on the quieter side

Scott, I ended up making my own flanges and welding then to the header I already had. The standard three bolt flange, on this header, put the mufflers just to close to the heads for me. I ended up making a set that was off center and it gave me the clearance I was looking for. The best thing to do i...

I see you had the burro there. I was just wondering what the fix was?
