You could use thing/ Porsche 924/944 axles, Cv joints (type 4) and sub axles. should all just bolt in. the axles are shorter then bug ones and the type 4/2 cv are stronger. As far as a true Manx, the dashboard looks to be fiberglass but the shape doesn't look like the fiberglass Manx 2 dash. You would need to post more pics

David, I mocked everything up first. Get the trans and engine in then set the angle and build the brackets. If you are using a doghouse cooler you want to make sure it clears the body and fenders. I've used Pico Wheel and tire in north Hollywood to make a set of custom offset and wide rims for the Burro.
