Re: Corsair project

Got the latch from McMaster-Carr. Dual cable pull release latch. Kind of pricey but seems to work very well. I think it's made by Glassmaster controls in Mich.

Re: Corsair project

Got the latch yesterday. First thing this morning went to garage, turned on the fan, cranked up the rock and roll, and got busy on the buggy. Life is good. http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd401/sandwinder1/photo_2.jpg http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd401/sandwinder1/1234bc65-f3f2-4a32-9b39-...

Re: Corsair project

I've been planning a liftable for a long time. I've banged my head enough. Test fitted the brackets and lifts today. Works perfect, now to decide on the latch type. I've seen several I liked on nuggies at the runs. http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd401/sandwinder1/Mobile%20Uploads/image-7.jpg ht...

Re: The El Tejon Manx

I've registered several cars that sat for years. No problems with DMV. Easy to use original plates.

Re: Manx Roof

Your rollbar looks perfect for the buggy. Add a couple of rear supports which bolt to something solid and you should be good.
