Reversing lights, that is the standard set up for later beetles. Power comes from the ignition through the inline ceramic fuse down and back up from the switch on the nosecone. This is how my buggy is wired same as a standard bug.

I think he might be missing the oil slinger. Which doesn't come in the kits. bearing washer small o-ring spacer/seal oil slinger brake drum

A type 3 pan is not an option for me, and the automatic pan is of no advantage as it has no frame horns, which is what I have to reposition on the type 1 pan to get the transmission to fit.

Type 3 Automatic into Manx

Hi all, as the title says I'm looking to put an automatic into my manx. Yes I know this a big job but it can be done (there are 3 that I've heard about here in Oz). Just doing my planning and research for now and was wondering if anyone has any photos of this type of conversion. Cheers mackaymanx
