Siggymanx, do you still have those Tow'd parts left over? I'd be interested in buying them.

Madmanx, Sorry I missed you. I always enjoy Bugout and enjoy scoping out the aircooled cars in the show. I also enjoy the drags. I was sort of disappointed that the vendor turnout was really low and that there weren't too many goodies in the swapmeet area, most just old worn out worthless parts. Me ...

Me and 2 of my buddys are going down. The Tow'd and my friends Joe Pody buggy aren't ready yet though. I always enjoy Bugout... unless it's raining. Looks to be decent weather. I will be wearing my Tow'd shirt and snapping lots of pictures. I'll be hanging around the buggies or the swapmeet area or ...

Would people be more interested in basing the meeting around an existing VW show? I know Bug Out in Manassas, VA usually has a pretty good turn out. You could have the Buggy meet on Saturday and Everyone hit Bug Out on Sunday.

Look, I hate to seem like Mr. Negative here, but anybody who grew up anywhere where there were cars, trucks and buses has been exposed to asbestos. Big cities were probably the worst. All the traffic at every corner and stoplight. Cars, buses, trucks, trolleys all starting and stopping and shifting ...

I am Navy vet. Was in from 80-86. I was part of the beirut multinational peace-keeping force. Sad to say I carried caskets when they bombed the american embassy over there and again when they truck-bombed the marine barracks. I saw the first broadside fired in anger since the vietnam war off the coa...

I have a Dec '68 Tow'd. TO/213/L8/43r and it is an ABS tub with the orange color. It is not in the best of shape as it is cracked up in too many places and a previous owner had actually pop-riveted the tub to the frame! It has had several backyard metal reinforcements added which some have been remo...
